Stuart Storey
Originally trained as a Mechanical Engineer, Stuart spent 25 years building a career in the consumer goods industry working on everything from soap powder to ice cream, ultimately becoming the CEO of a cheese business.
In 2020, he had a midlife renewal which enabled him to re-design his working life focussing on the things he love’s to do rather than the things he thought he should do. Stuart now has a portfolio career as an artist (StuART), whilst also working as a business coach and mentor (Vibrant Perspective), and a freelance cycling guide - a fantastic mix!
Working from home in Hampton Hill, where he live’s with his wife, 2 kids and dog - the area acts as fantastic inspiration with the Royal Parks, River Thames and London all on his doorstep. Stuart’s passion for cycling, and love for anything outdoors forms the inspiration for much of his art.
Working in acrylics, Stuart plays with bold, bright colours and interesting perspective to take the viewer on a journey through the picture.
His work has caught the attention of the Fred Whitton Challenge, of which he is proud to be the Official artist & Friend of.
